Every port-to-port price, one table
You drive the car to the port, or collect it there. Matson carries it. We book the sailing, handle the documents, and text you at every step. The port-to-port price does not change with your mainland state.

Hawaii car shipping prices, explained
Why is the booking fee only $100?
Because K'AI books the sailing for you online, start to finish, without a person on our side. You pay Matson's rate directly to Matson, and our fee is the only thing we charge. Booking by phone costs $150 port-to-port and $500 for door service because a coordinator does the work by hand.
Is the price the same for every state?
Port-to-port, yes. It is Matson's ocean rate plus our fee, so a car from Texas and a car from California pay the same $1,680 to Oahu. Door service adds a licensed overland carrier from your address to the port, and that leg depends on your state. The state pages show today's figure, quoted from the live rate engine.
Does the booking fee come off the total?
Yes. It is applied to your booking, never added on top. It reserves your space on the Matson sailing and pays for the coordination from documents to pickup.
Is this a sale that ends?
It is this month's rate. It renews month to month and it is locked the moment you book. There is no countdown and no fine print.
What counts as a standard vehicle?
A passenger car, SUV, or pickup that fits Matson’s standard vehicle envelope and rolls under its own power. Oversized, lifted, inoperable, or enclosed shipments are quoted separately by the same engine, with the same fee.
