Navigating the Port
The Port of Tacoma is a maze. Do not rely on GPS alone.
From Seattle / North (I-5 S)
- Take I-5 South toward Tacoma.
- Take Exit 136 (Port of Tacoma Rd).Turn Left at the light onto Sand Island Access Rd.
- Turn Left onto Port of Tacoma Rd.
- Turn Right onto Lincoln Ave.
- Drive 1.5 miles. Matson is on the Right.
From JBLM / South (I-5 N)
- Take I-5 South toward Tacoma.
- Take Exit 136 (Port of Tacoma Rd).
- Turn Left onto Port of Tacoma Rd.
- Turn Right onto Lincoln Ave.
⚓ LANE CHECK: You will see signs for "Alaska" and "Hawaii" lanes. Ensure you follow the Hawaii signage to avoid mixing with the Anchorage freight.
